London football fans had some Class 90 haulage along the West Coast Main Line on February 11, when Tottenham Hotspur supporters chartered a train from Euston to Liverpool South Parkway for their team’s visit to play Liverpool at Anfield.

No. 90037 is pictured working the 1Z90/11.52 ex-Euston through Runcorn, which had classmate No. 90035 at the rear to work the empty stock back to Crewe. Spurs lost the match 2-0. Mark Youdan
